    The have fun making money story

    Despite my previous employment in the recruitment industry I never considered sharing my knowledge – until now! Previously I was employed in the recruitment industry, specialising in mystery shopping. I stopped this and went on to university to study for a degree in human resource management. During my time as a student, as many of you may relate to, times were hard and I was struggling to make ends meet. I was introduced to online surveys through an old contact that specialised in online surveys. It was then that I decided to give it a go – after all, what could I lose? I was really pleased with the initial response and was surprised just how easy it is. I went back to my contact and asked for more potential leads as I was fully utilising the ones that I had – and needless to say making a lot of money out of it and naturally wanted more – who wouldn’t? I followed his networking through and before I knew it I found myself with quite a lot of contacts within the trade. I found the transition from the recruitment side of mystery shopping to actually participating very exciting and lots of fun!

    After a while my friends starting getting suspicious as to how I was the one who could still buy a round weeks after loan day! I enlightened them of my experience and soon they were all taking part. After encouragement from all of my friends who were also getting the same buzz as me, I decided that I wanted to share this knowledge even further.

    I have always been a fan of eBay, both buying and selling. Continuously browsing the diverse range of goods and services offered by eBay members the idea suddenly struck me that other people will be able to benefit from my knowledge. I then decided to make this wonderful opportunity available to the public and listed on eBay. Initially I was listing the item as normal – and found that through my customer’s word of mouth news was spreading fast. I was constantly receiving emails telling me how I should make it more available as they were so happy with the returns that they were seeing. It was also pointed out to me that people may not come onto eBay with the intention of looking for such an item, but may still find it to be very valuable to them. It was because of this that I decided to list on the homepage, which did seem to be quite an investment. However the response I had from this was astounding to say the very least. I did not realise how much of a success this would be, and how I could help so many people financially – it all makes it worthwhile reading through the many emails I receive telling me how I have changed people’s lives.
